Clouds drop the light in shafts
It reflects off the glassy surface
A glow of iridescent colors surrounding her

With tender footsteps
She tiptoes over the crystal water
Gliding with ease

A translucent gown
Draped over her frail but beautiful body
It flows out from under her
Treading over the ripples

Alone within the sea of dreams
Her voice an echo of silence
Whispering to no one
Just her own reflection

Soft breeze offers her a dance
She accepts letting it twirl her around
Gently wrapping its tendrils around her waist
She breathes in the wind’s warmth
But it isn’t what she wants

The waves twist around her
She allows their touch
Each cool wisp holding her close
But still she remains unsatisfied

The clouds shy away
Opening up for the sun
The rays cast magical shadows about her face
Each a small kiss
Even then her dreams are unfulfilled

An inaudible sigh
But a sound of quiet splashes

Her ears perked at the air’s vibration
She slightly turned her head
Their eyes met

He stood rather awkwardly
Upon the clear pool
A silver robe hung loosely about his arms

She stared at him
His icy aqua eyes smiling at her
Her emerald ones unnerved
But she grinned back

Her heart feeling something new
The desire for more

His magnetic gaze pulled her closer
Her limbs feeling limp
As she almost floated toward him

Holding her hand with firmness
He let her fall into his loving embrace

She raised her face up to his
And he held her chin in the tips of his fingers

His lips came down upon hers
Gently at first, barely touching
Then he pressed a little
Letting his entire being share in his love

And the sun set behind them
Sealing their dream come true
